Monthly Materials Drive for Refugee Women in HK

Bring in donations of feminine hygiene products.  Yes, that means pads and tampons!

The Outreach Initiatives Committee helps fund student ledfaculty and staff-led and parent-led projects that have a charitable and service oriented or environmentally conscious element. This year we have helped fund R.E.S.P.E.C.T. (the Refugee Educational Support Program- Everyone Can Teach!). This is a student-founded and student-led club whose goal is to provide primary school refugee children in Hong Kong with learning support from 25 tutors, all of whom are our Upper School students, every Saturday. R.E.S.P.E.C.T together with 2 other Upper School Clubs, Free to Run (mission is to use running, physical fitness and outdoor adventure to empower and educate women and girls who have been affected by conflict) and SAGE (Student Advocates for Gender Equality) are doing a monthly materials drive to collect sanitary products for the refugee woman of Hong Kong. Please take a moment view the attached promo video made by Helena Hatrick of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.: Monthly Materials Drive

This drive will run from 8 March (International Woman’s day) until the 21st of March.
