CISPA Outreach proudly supports “Home of Love” during this holiday season, and we ask that you please open your hearts by helping this worthwhile local organization care for needy families in Hong Kong.
Operated by the Sisters of Charity, Mother Theresa’s organization, the Home of Love opened in Hong Kong in 1983 and has been servicing the community ever since. Part of their mission is to give “Wholehearted and free service to the poorest of the poor”.
The Home of Love is a temporary shelter in Sham Shui Po district, housing men and women who do not have the means to provide for themselves. Each day, Home of Love provides free lunch and dinner for around 20-60 people, provides shelter to the homeless, and offers outreach and support to those in need in the surrounding community.
Home of Love is always in need of basic essentials, including blankets, nappies, towels, toothpaste, soap and non-perishable foods such as rice, noodles, canned meats, cooking oil, powdered milk, sugar, coffee and tea.
If you would like to support Home of Love, please drop off your gifts under the Christmas tree on the 9th floor.
You do not need to provide additional packing or to wrap the donations.
Donation drop-off period: 27 November – Dec 12, 2017.
CISPA has supported Home of Love for many years and we thank you in advance for your generous donation!
