Mandarin Reading Group

The Mandarin Reading Group provides reading assistance to the Chinese Studies Department.  The parents readwith children during Mandarin sessions either one on one or in a small group.  The goal is to enhance our students reading  experience.  If you are a proficient Mandarin speaker and would like to be involved in this initiative, please contact Joyce Zee.

The launch of the parent-led Lower School Mandarin Reading Program, has been made successful by the 70 parent readers from both Upper and Lower schools, together with the meticulous planning from the Chinese Studies Department and the CISPA Chinese Studies Committee.  Over 450 45-minutes reading sessions have been taken up by volunteers from grades pre-reception to five.  A huge thanks to all parent readers and grade leaders who gave your time to help students with Mandarin reading needs in the past month.
