The LTT Department is responsible for the shared visioning, support, and infusion of educational technologies into curriculum and pedagogical practices at CDNIS.

The department provides support for students, staff, and parents as they continue to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage contemporary technologies that advance teaching and learning so that students will be engaged and challenged to the highest order of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication solving.

The IB and CDNIS mission statements both challenge us to develop students who are internationally minded and responsible global citizens and leaders. Access to both mobile computers and the robust wireless network at CDNIS makes it possible for students to achieve these goals.

The laptop programme at CDNIS is now in its sixth year. All teachers have laptops. Prep through to Grade 4 students use dedicated mobile laptop carts. Grade 5-12 students use their own laptops.

The LTT Department works with CISPA to provide parents with monthly session on a variety of topics from cyber-safety and social networking to information and computer literacy. You will find further information about topics and dates in the CISPA Calendar and the CISPA Beat.
