School Lunches
There are two cafeterias in the building, one on the 12th floor and one on the 6th floor. Students in Pre-Reception and Reception do not eat lunch at school.
Both cafeterias offer a choice of hot meals as well as a variety of sandwiches, pizza, salads, snacks, and drinks. In addition, the Maple Café, located in the 6/F Cafeteria, provides coffee, sandwiches and variety of foods and beverages. Staff, parents, and visitors are welcome to use the food services.

LS students may pre-order and pre-pay lunches but US students are expected to buy lunch at the 6/F paying with cash or Octopus cards. Lunch may be pre-ordered for US students only by contacting Chartwells directly.
LS menus are set for a three-month period. Students and parents are welcome to sign up and pay for school meals in a three-month block, two-month block, or month by month. Meals may either be ordered in advance for the entire month/s or for specific days. The meal enrolment fee is calculated on the number of days the student participates in the programme. Alternatively, students in Grade 3 and above may pay for food on a daily basis without ordering in advance. Younger students are not encouraged to bring cash to school. Octopus cards are accepted at the cafeterias.
Many students bring lunch from home. There are several microwave ovens available in each cafeteria. Beverages are also available from vending machines or by payment at the cashier. Some vending machines accept only Octopus cards. Drinking water is provided throughout the school. Please send water bottles to reduce the number of paper cups used and to ensure your child is hydrated during warm weather.
The catering company used by CDNIS is Chartwells, from the Compass Group. See their regular announcements here.
