House System
How can CISPA better support this? (10 Points to Gryffindor!)
In order to foster a system of healthy competition and initiative within the School, CDNIS has established house colours for children from Prep onward. The houses are named after famous Canadian First Nation groups:

Points are awarded to students by teachers for classwork, homework, helpfulness or improvement in a particular area. House points are also awarded to teams at Sports Day. Parents can even earn house points on behalf of their children, for example, by dressing in costume on the day of the Halloween parade.
A weekly and monthly announcement of points is made and the winning house will be awarded a prize at the end of the school year. Students are assigned a house colour during their first year of attendance at CDNIS.
